None of the Midwest choices excite me, but Fort Wayne seems pretty pleasant, so I'll go with that one. In the Northeast, Portland stands head and shoulders above the other choices. (Trenton, really? Trying to guarantee that there'll be a city that no one picks?) The choice is harder in the South, as I like Charleston, El Paso, Knoxville, and Lexington, for a variety of reasons. The best one, for me, I'd have say Knoxville. And finally, in the west, I like Colorado Springs, Flagstaff, Provo, and Spokane, but I'll give the nod to Flagstaff. Since I have to pick one out of all these, I'll go with Knoxville.
From the man that brought you the 2020 Metro Madness, I bring you the 1st edition of the 32 city Royal Rumble.
Like the WWE match and the PPV named after it, only one man will stand alone. I will choose 32 lesser known cities and put them in this poll. The 32 cities will be:

Northeast:
Albany, New York
Binghamton, New York
Burlington, Vermont
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
Manchester, New Hampshire
New Brunswick, New Jersey
Portland, Maine
Trenton, New Jersey

Your Pennsylvania contender in this tournament should have been Lancaster rather than Harrisburg.
Well, if you want a single "last man standing" contest, I guess, but you had grouped the cities by region, which actually suggests an NCAA-style tournament.
And I think that would have been more interesting, if more of a hassle to set up because you have to pair cities in brackets.

I did that with the metro madness lol, I had it like that to give equal representation to every region.
Hard no. Portland is a better and bigger city with far more to do around it .. and a much better dining scene.
Chapel Hill I would put at #3 on here behind Portland ME and Burlington VT
If it is only looking at town borders, that’s one thing. If it’s looking at metro, that’s something else. But the parameters here are hazy to say the least.

Maybe they should set up ranked-choice voting here on C-D.
