A 28 y/o man was stabbed overnight in Norfolk and later died this afternoon, it happened in the Berkley neighborhood. That's 26 for the year.

There's been a total 19 shootings in HR the past 5-6 days, including a triple shooting in Hampton and a police officer being shot at in Chesapeake.

A 37y.o man was shot and killed while sitting in his vehicle on Saturday morning on Bullard St.

3 dead 15 injured after shooting on south st in Philadelphia last night.

Teen was being jumped by several people. The teens friends came back 10 minutes later and fired into a crowd of people hitting several of those responsible for the altercation. Few people in the crowd returned fire at the vehicle as well as 1 cop. Many innocents were caught in the crossfire

Violence in Chicago this weekend still occurred, but better than the previous chaotic weekend over the holiday. There was 1 killed and 18 shot.

But in an otherwise quiet north suburban community of Wheeling, two people (man and woman) were found shot dead on a residential street early Sunday morning. According to a roommate, and man and his girlfriend had an argument preceding the shooting.

Indeed it is. And I feel that it will only get much worse, especially with the looming recession and probable mass layoffs.
