A 16-year-old New Bedford girl who was shot over the weekend died of her injuries at a local hospital Thursday afternoon.
Anali Farias was shot during an incident in the area of Bullard and North Front streets around 11:30 p.m. Saturday.

Chicago is the same way, but October sort of bucked the trend with seeing 60+ homicides, just like last year. Historically, some of the violent periods have been in fall and early winter.

If you're using the crime map, this is how many homicides have been reported from mid May until today. The city of Miami is probably around the 45-50 range.

Homicides are down in Miami compare to 2021 it probably finish year with 48
