VB's first homicide of the year was recorded yesterday and a shooting in front of a nightclub and gambling spot in Portsmouth leaves a man dead.

Norfolk - 6
Hampton - 4
Portsmouth - 3
NN - 1
Chesapeake - 1
VB - 1

The guy responsible for NN's first murder was also the culprit in the shooting in Hampton of a transgender woman after a lustry meeting at a hotel went left. She wasn't seriously hurt.

Portsmouth is now at 5 after two separate incidents -- A double shooting involving a woman, leaving a man dead outside of a motel, and a triple shooting that left a man dead outside a sportsplex with others having serious injuries.

This includes a "suspicious death" investigation of another woman, which may or may not turn into a homicide investigation, as well as a double shooting in Hampton at the Peninsula Town Center but no casualties.
