In Hampton a 19 y/o dies overnight in the hospital after being shot outside some apartments off Kecoughtan Rd in the Wythe area. That's the 5th murder already this month, after having none in March. That puts them at 11 for the year, about even with last year which had 10.

The only year PGC was higher than DC I think was 07 when it had 169. Other than that DC always has a higher count. Dc last year was 223 and PG was 133.

I didn't mean higher than DC. I meant higher or lower compared to the previous year. When DC is up compared to the year before, PCG is down and vice versa.

San Bernardino might possibly be at 30 homicides at this point, the news agencies don't report anything at all unless its 2 teenagers shot but for a city of 217k, right now is the deadliest city here on the westcoast.

Man San Bernardino's homicides are SUPER Underreported unlike most cities.

The same could be said for certain parts of Los Angeles. Theres been alot of killing in the areas between vernon and century from western ave to central in south central La... for some reason the major media markets like abc report less crime news than ones in NYC, even if the murder rate is the same... I believe the media could be under reporting due to the fact the LA district attorney might be under the heaviest scrutiny in the country. His own peers in his office want him out and the media could be trying their best to keep his profile lower

Chicago with 156. After a slightly improved February and March this April is shaping up to be one of the deadliest in years in Chicago.

Any updates on Philly or Houston?

^ Philadelphia actually had a slowdown, until yesterday. I think the city is at 132ish, still down from last year though.

Houston was at 103 at of 3/17/22, I can't find recent updates, but I imagine it's on par with Chicago.
