San Bernardino is the usual suspect here as well as South Los Angeles, California has some serious laws in play next year so hopefully the crime is at an all time low in 2023 ~

And I’m sure St Louis & Baltimore are still the worse ?

Yeah that whole desert area turned into like an L.A now. Palmdale area got all the Valley, South Central and Compton, Long Beach bangers and the Victorville part got the same but also Pomona and San Bernardino cats.
But I doubt any laws are going to stop anything in L.A because that's L.A, it isn't stopping now or anytime soon.

Chicago- 692

55-year-old man died Saturday evening after being stabbed in Chatham.

Rest in peace to everyone that has fallen in 2022. May that 2023 see less violence and killings.

that doesn't seem quite as bad at 3.1/100k for the state. Last 5 years Vermont has been at 2.2 and MA 2.3 put them near the safest states behind only NH (0.9) Maine (1.6) and Vermont tied with Idaho (2.2). The 5 Burlington homicides puts them at 11/100k. I don't know if they were related and if it's just considerd 1 or 2 incidents. It is interesting to see them end a year with more homicides than Lawrence or New Bedford(more than twice the population size ).

2020 Protest Burlington reduce their force follow by people left now the force now the city realize it now they trying rebuild it and also throw in some section 8 as well, domestic indents. Maine had 32 homicides in 2022 the highest since 1989 half was domestic violence Maine typically sees 20 to 25 homicides each year. Maine and Vermont have drug problem as well it attracts bad apples from out of state due to less competition in big cities.
