Every one of those posts are about the topic.
Everyone so far has contributed to the discussion but you.

Thanks for quoting the posts.
Reading through those all I see are good points.

This thread is about where the wealthy live, what bothers you so much about discussing where they live?

Citydata19 do have a good point though. Only the poor urbanite enthusiast (such as c-d posters) would sing praises about living in squalor.. because it's 'authentic'.
The real dominant people in our society prefer the wealthy suburban or rural areas. Those individuals are in their own class, let's not forget.

People like what they like. Some are city folk others aren't. I met more millionaires living in Chicago than any other place.

The squalor statement wasn't very well thought out.

Why have 3 pages been spent arguing this lol. Wealthy people can be in rural areas, suburban areas, or urban areas. All of it is a matter of their personal preference.

The list is not surprising at all. I’d be curious to see where Miami ranks though. I would think they’d be right outside the Big 5.

Those 5 cities are part of the top 10 richest in the world. If we expand to top 20 Dallas makes the cut at #18.
Elsewhere in North America, Toronto makes the list @ #14.

I am not sure if there has already been losses reflected but the listsin seeing all have more millionaires than the figures in the OP:

New York City, New York - 345,600 millionaires.
San Francisco Bay Area, California - 276,400 millionaires.
Los Angeles/Malibu, California - 192,400 millionaires. ...
Chicago, Illinois - 160,100 millionaires. ...
Houston, Texas - 132,600 millionaires

It did say that Miami is near the top for second homes though and that it is among the top 5 growing cities for Centi-millionaires.

With all these moves to Miami it may make the top 20 list soon as more millionaires make it their first home instead of 2nd.

No problem.

I actually was expecting Toronto to be right next to Chicago. It is similar in size and is the primate city for Canada.

Dallas is right where it should be for its size.

Chicago is almost on par with LA.

SF is the truly impressive one. It is almost keeping up with NY.

I am assuming that Miami, Boston and either Seattle or Atlanta would round up the top 10.

It's weird but looking at counties Maricopa ranks really high. Phoenix metro might low-key be up there.

Philadelphia is another wild card. DC is another. DC has the 4th highest CONCENTRATION of millionaires after SJ, Bridgeport and SF. Boston has the 6th highest and Seattle the 9th highest
