The best rowhouse cities are all the oldest ones (NYC, Boston, Philly, DC, Baltimore, Savannah), but Chicago does have some great rowhouses, particularly in its oldest parts of town (Lincoln Park, Wicker Park, Gold Coast, Near West Side, and many South Side neighborhoods like Bronzeville, Kenwood, and Washington Park).

Lol, they are not as crowded as they look. They might be all bunched up together but once you get inside its amazing how much space there really is.

Thats how it is in the city man, urbanity at its finest. See I love urbanity but I need my green space also, why you think I love Florida as much as I love NY/NJ?

I could easily live here:

Yeah Northern cities were made to be walkable and for people that didn't have cars. Thats why public transportation is so much better. Sun Belt cities are much younger and mostly lack the urbanity of the North, but I don't mind, I'm glad they are both different, gives you a change in scenery.
