And those tiny roads are the same throughout the Piedmont Region. Even Atlanta has plenty of them.
Thats what I meant. I knew it wasnt done yet. But it wont be much worse than charlottes trust me. And yeah I know it's a common thing in the piedmont but, that still dosent excuse it or make it any better than Texas infrastructure. Just because Atlanta has it dosent make it any better. But Atlantas a better city. And it seems to be more prevalant in CLT than anywhere else. I would go as far to say that fl has the best ROAD and HIGHWAY infrastructure in the south. Notice how I didnt say public transportation lol. But I would say it's a tie between FL and TX for roads and highways IMHO. They are the two largest states in the south so it would mae sense.

Hey I like Charlotte, but it is no SA, Austin or Fort Worth yet. Ok,just drive around the cities and you can well see the difference. Southpark area of Charlotte is nice. Asheville is the star of NC

They can elevate the highways but can't do the same for rail, pfft.
But they are elevating the rail in plenty of places. Metro doesn't have enough money to elevate the entire system, and what areas were recently built elevated?

Yeah, Charlotte is SA, Austin and Fort Worth. You just have too much Texas pride and can't see it. Charlotte EASILY compares to Austin and San Antonio. You didn't even list reasons. You just said "infrastructure.....restaurants".

Would you care to describe the difference for those of us who haven't had the pleasure of driving around San Antonio, Austin, or Fort Worth?

And I believe the best way to experience a city is by foot (at least for the walkable parts of the city).

I personally think all four of those cities are in the same tier. Im just responding to someone who said earlier that charlotte was a tier above austin and SA. And thats not true, there on the same level.

On an interstate that alot of people pass through on there way from up north, from places like new york. And a place where thousands of people come down for the races, and its not far from concord mills the largest tourist attraction in NC. So I definately see what you mean. BUT I wouldnt call Charlotte ugly.
This is because Raleigh screws Charlotte when it comes to road funding. It's been going on for years.

Charlotte lacks infrastructure, good food and limited shopping. if you just drive around the cities you will see that Charlotte is not on the same tier, mahbe an half tier down at best
