I have lived in Arkansas all of my life, I'm 58 and have seen our capitol building from the outside (only) once, and compare it to be along the same lines of our capitol building in Washington D.C., though it may be considerbly smaller in size.

Rhode Island looks cool it has a few mini domes and it has a nice backdrop.
And Newport has a nice former state house, it was a Co-capital until 1901.
Fun Fact- The Gold on the MA State house was removed during WWII so possible german Bombers could not see it.

I don't like how some capitol buildings such as Texas' and California's are surrounded by taller buildings nearby. These beautiful buildings should stand out tall by themselves like in DC.

Oregon's looks like a tomb.

Iowas is my favorite. Just beautiful!
Florida does not have the worst. It's different and not a dome which is boring and similar so it's the second best.

The worst has to be the other 40 states that are Identical. Nothing interesting except the inside.

Louisiana? Tallest building in the country and the inside is stunning. Lots of assassination history too.

Wow... some of these are terrible. I think it's a lot more fun to look at the bad ones, because there are so many great ones, the bad ones are almost more interesting.

Oregon's for example looks TERRIBLE, but man, is that building ever interesting! I just spent like 5 min looking at pictures of it, and reading about. Such a bizarre combination of art deco and apparently EGYPTIAN architecture styles, the place looks like it would be more at home as some sort of super hero hideout as opposed to a State Capital. I can't get over how terrible it is, and yet at the same time I kind of really like it.

It seems nearly very state tried to mimic the US Capitol, making them inter-changeable to my eye. I like the colonial architecture of these two older buidlings.
