Surprised neither are listed here.
I've always been curious as to why they designated that area of the Rockies as Rocky Mountain National Park. Aren't there better looking areas of the Rockies?

I have been to Yellowstone but not Lassen. What's the point of going to Lassen if you've been to Yellowstone? Isn't Lassen basically a mini Yellowstone?

I've been to the Grand Canyon and the Great Smokies. Loved them both.

How can you say that if you've never been there?

When the National Parks get together at their annual convention, they all cease talking, move aside and clear space at the head of the table when Yosemite enters the room.

It's super accessible with a lot of good family friendly trails. And Trail Ridge road is right there. It's a great national park.

Aren't there other parts of the Colorado Rockies that are just as accessible? I don't think Trail Ridge Road existed before the national park, they could have built a similar road through other parts of the Colorado Rockies and declared it a national park.

Probably Grand Canyon, just because there's nothing else like it. I really want to make it back there someday and actually hike to the bottom.

Olympic is great too, though. It feels like the climactic endpoint of a long journey.
