I agree, I know a guy who stopped working full-time at a pretty young age after saving up (getting) enough money to buy a 5 family fixer-upper in the Bronx for 475K making it's total cost around 500K+ including it's renovations and makes $7,000 a month in rent money a month.
He also just made an investment in Newark adding another $3,000 a month to his salary. (But the property taxes are worst in Newark than they were for him in the Bronx)

But you need money to get money.

overtown miami fl, has less than 10k people, around 8500 or 9000 and its on pace to have over 12 murders this year. it has had like 3 mass shooting already this year. last month it had 12 people shot and two die, just today three were shot, two died and the third victim will mosl likely die as hes been shot multiple times with an AK47

Damn, that's very sad, everytime I hear stories like this it gets to me even though I'm used to them.

They need to take Overtown off the map and throw salt where it once stood.

Overtown is definitely an eyesore for what is the beautiful City of Miami.They say the Overtown area went in decline when the Interstate was built through there along with Civil Rights where the blacks expanded outside of those parameters and into more affluent neighborhoods.
