Here is a thread from the Seattle forum that has a few really good streetscape photos of Seattle. Credit goes to our resident superstar photographer Pwright1.

Here are a couple of my favorites:

I'm not sure which city "wins." The photos of Boston are gorgeous, and I know Boston well, but the photos of Seattle are impressive as well. I guess it all just comes down to personal preference.

I totally forgot about this thread...I even totally forgot that I posted on this thread (twice?).

My present day opinion is that streetscape-wise, Boston wins easily...skyline-wise Seattle wins easily. Seattle especially wins on the natural backdrop. It's tough for any city in the United States to attempt to compare their background to Mt. Ranier.

P.S. What's up with the sudden rush of Boston vs. threads? Both new and revived?

I totally agree with this entire post! I actually believe Seattle has one of the best skylines, especially when combined with the distant mountain views. But that cannot beat walking through the older streets of Boston where every once in a while you are reminded that people have walking those same streets for going on 400 years!

Lol, I also noticed someone has been digging up all the Boston threads also.
