I think of LA , Chicago, NYC, Houston, Seattle, Minneapolis, Philly, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Atlanta and San Francisco to have some of the best skylines....
Most underrated...Minneapolis... and St. Paul...and they are about 10 miles apart... You can seee the both at the same time, its incredible
I think that Jacksonville, FL has an underrated skyline. A lot of people beat up on it and say that it has a small skyline for its size, but they obviously haven't seen the skyline from its best angles, like this angle.
I will also cast a vote for Columbia, SC (city: 125K, metro: 740K):
People say Tampa's skyline is small for its metro size. But considering the Tampa Bay metro area consists of two other descent sized cities (St Pete/Clearwater) each with skylines of there own, and the fact that not even half of the cities commercial office space is even in Downtown, Tampa's skyline is pretty big.
