i disagree with you here.. san antonio's skyline is rated just fine. and it's not so great... but i don't think it's fair to san antonio's downtown cause it's gorgeously beautiful at street level. it almost feels like you're in europe sometimes.
the skyline isn't great, but i think it's ok because it makes up for it at street level.
Fort Worth would look good with a skyline like Dallas.

Seriously though, it's best for Fort Worth to build more medium high rises to the west first, if anything, then fill in the rest of downtown with taller skyscrapers WHEN NEEDED.
Take for instance during a football, basketball, or baseball game they rarely ever show a full live shot of the Downtown Houston skyline. Even when the Super Bowl came to Houston they didn't show it off much.
Houston's skyline is the 3rd tallest in the US after NYC & Chicago, but you wouldn't know it unless you actually lived or visited & saw all of it in person because there are skyscrapers all over the city, not just in downtown.
