I'd say LA because it is the most recognizable. A lot of other cities have nicknames/initials that are recognized mostly locally. LA is worldwide.

C'bus:Columbus,OH
San Anton: San Antonio
DSM: Des Moines
SLC: Salt Lake City
PDX: Portland,OR.
