Which state would you rather live in? The state Lincoln was born in (Kentucky) or the state Lincoln represented (Illinois)?

I voted Kentucky.

All Illinois has to offer, to me, is Chicago which is far too cold for my tastes.

KY all the way. Louisville would be a very nice place to live. Mountains are so beautiful there too.

Indiana could be a choice too, Lincoln lived there during his "boyhood". That said, of course Kentucky On an interesting note, Confederate president Jefferson Davis and Lincoln were born here less than 100 miles and one year apart

Not even a contest here.... IL all the way. The only advantage I can think of for KY is the Cumberland Gap, which I think is gorgeous. I just think IL is faaaar more cosmopolitan, which attracts me and keeps me here. Plus we have areas of the state which are gorgeous, too.

Looks like good ol' Abe would probably agree with me, too, God rest his soul.
