I have to go with the T-Dot on this one, but I'm biased.

I don't think a lot of Americans really know about Toronto. The city is huge, for one. If it were American, it would be the 4th largest behind only NYC, LA, and Chicago if I remember correctly. And it's at or around the top of pretty much every livability rating there is(LA is conspicuously absent from most of those...). It has managed to combine an incredible level of diversity and internationalism with a high level of livability, relatively low crime, and cleanliness. Toronto, even though it does have its flaws, is a city that according to the most important things to most people on this forum is a marvel of urban engineering. Americans should really stop sleeping on it.

I have been to Toronto a few times. Well, more than a few. I really liked Toronot but there are other cities in Canada that I like better (caugh, Montreal). I did enjoy shopping in Toronto, but not going to go in the dead of winter, and that's coming from somebody who used to reside in Buffalo.

Now as far as LA. I personally LOOOOOve LA. I lived there a few years back and it was one of the most memoriable times of my life. I know LA get's bashed alot on here, but I personally found it quite nice. I loved the weather, women, mountains, landscape, restaurants, clubs, etc. Almost everything. I have been debating moving back. To many people bash LA, and I don't think they really know what LA is really like. I know that they don't like the skyline, it get's knocked alot. I personally think that LA's skyline is vastly improving all the time. It definately looks better than it used to.

Forgot to give my vote, Is it not obvious....I love LA...

I I love LA too. I also use to live there and I think it is the most unique city in the U.S. I might be spreadout but I find it pretty easy to get around and there are thousands of interesting neighborhoods. It has it all.
