I don't think its fair to compare the little ole Northeast to the entire West Coast.
Land-wise I completely agree, but when you look at comparing populations and the number of large cities its much more comparable. Including the South in that basically makes it a 2-on-1 vs. the West. But if we intend to compare strictly what lies on each seaboard then we could look at it that way.
I just think that in realistic terms the West Coast is one region, the "East Coast" is one region that most people would consider to be the NE from DC (sometimes VA) to Maine, and the South is one region that just happens to have part of it lying along the East Coast.
OK I'm going to solve this once and for all. Nebraska is on the east coast and Georgia is on the west coast. What do you think? Did I come in with the knockout?
Don't worry we'll show the West the way things really are, when the Terps dominate Cal this Saturday, just like we did last year in football, basketball, and soccer.
