Why do you insist no telling me where I live? I live in Chicago and work in the Loop. The Loop dies after ten, most restaurants close by 10 expect for the weekend when they close an hour or two later. Loop does not run all night, there are people walking home or elswhere but there is no real night life there.
Are you also saying accountants and financial professionals are not the people who populate the nighlife scene? Is the night life scene only for highschool and college kids in this town? That would explain a lot byt the way. C'mon guy, you clearly have no idea what nighlife is all about. Is not just clubs and bars. But if you think so then you must be very happy in Chicago.

Food: it depends what you like: SF focuses on simple food with the best ingredients, chicago is more innovative, and nyc is more formal (im talking about high end restaurants). But for me I like SF best. Im sure all of them have delicious, cheap food. Chicago/NYC tie.
