Calling me out!? :>)

I'll try to go out and snap some rowhouse pictures when I get some free time. Been meaning to. Maybe take a trip to Alta Vista and down Diversey.

I chose Chicago, because you have a beach that people can actually use, and experience awesome skylines right there.

See NY'ers and people in New England, in general, believe the USA is two coasts and wilderness in the middle. They need to get their heads out of their ***.

Before I begin, let me point out that this is just near downtown. Every neighborhood in the city has a different feel and where I'm from, the Irish neighborhood on the South Side, there's tons of beautiful homes, tree-lined streets, and old architecture.

And another thing: Chicago architectural firms are still #1 in the world in terms of contracting designs. Abu Dhabi and Dubai have contracted mostly Chicago school firms for their buildings. Here's an example:

That is a corporate HQ in Abu Dhabi. I seriously think that whoever made this thread was just butt-hurt that NYC is nothing but a huge cesspool of dirty places, rude people, rotten food, and terrorists looking to blow the place up.

Other things:

Chicago Board of Trade (OH! DIDN'T KNOW CHICAGO WAS A FINANCIAL HUB DID YOU, YOU IGNORANT NY'ERS??? IDIOTS!)

Millennium Park: A FREE outdoor theatre for when you want to enjoy a nice summer day listening to classical music played by a real band, or whoever decides to book it.

Ewwwwwwww what an ugly place [Chicago]

Please post pictures as nice as whoever posted those beautifull NYC pics or move along.

I can't believe someone is so jealous of NYC that they actually said NYC is nothing more than "terrorists looking to blow the place up" .... WOW!!!! Nobody wants to blow that dump Chicago up because it's not important. Might as well blow up a trailer park on Oklahoma

By would they build that awful thingy in the middle of the city? Urban faux pas

They would even put that up in downtown Houston as it doesn't agree with the grid.
