Boston has a few rowhomes in working-class neighborhoods that everyday folks managed to get a hold of but they're scarce for sure. They look better than Phillys for sure.
Those are not triple-deckers at all. Theyre attached and it looks like...at least on the less uniform ones... that one family lives on all three floors.
THree deckers have to be detached. Those look more like this low-income tenement in Boston
Actually, I know someone who lives on that block. They are all split into three different apartments by floor level. According to what I read online, triple deckers can be semi-attached such as these. They just have a much different aesthetic than the typical Boston triple-decker.
