I Think I prefer 90's with very low humidity like in LA than 90 degrees with humidity!

Not here in Cali, When it gets hot it rarely gets over 110 here, and it's usually 90 with low humidity and the breeze here feels great especially when you go to the beach, one question does Florida gets sea breeze that actually cool you off, I mean the water temps are warmer than it is outside sometimes. over here in Ca in the summer it gets hot the waters here are cold and refreshing and the sea breeze feels greats and the breeze is constant. In Florida only in the summer how do cool off at the beach if the water is warmer than it is outside?

So would i, obvlsy. who wouldn't? lol. I was just saying extreme dry heat (over 100 degrees) and humid heat (in the 80s or 90s). i would pick the humidity. cause dry extreme heat feels umbarrable, the second i walked outside (me being used to high humidity) my eyes and lips dried out fast, i felt like i was in an oven, felt like i was dying LOL

yeah the sea breezes cool you off tremendously, and when they meet up in the middle it covers us in clouds that cool us off, but then severe storms form, which consist of tons of lightning, heavy rain, gusty wind, ect.. this happens almost everyday in the summer. every other time of the year is great tho, cool/warm temps and low humidity, no rain =D

Interesting question. Being a native of the pacific northwest, humidity during the summer is quite rare. (However, humidity during winter is common, certainly lacking the uncomfortable element).

I've always thought that many in the states that are non-humid actually enjoy experiencing a litte of it when they go back east. It's almost like a novelty. But after a few days they are SO happy to return west.

I suppose it is what you are used to. There is a definite acclimation to it, and those who have lived with it their entire lives are probably more likely to say it is OK. For those who did not, it is extremely oppressive and disagreeable. Just one of those things that make our United States diverse.

Yes we have a sea breeze in FL. And It is stronger and more constant the closer you get to the water(obviously). Im not sure how it works, but it feels wonderful and refreshing. And when the Gulf's and the oceans sea breeze meet, that is when the rain starts, and that is why are lightning is so spectacular.

My family and I have a vacation home in Orlando and we mostly go there during the fall or winter season because we can't stand the extreme humidity there during the summer.

Hrrm, again, disagree here...would rather have the dry heat and not dripping sweat, at least it evaporates, and easier for me to breath without feeling I have to chew the air. The heat is not the issue, its the humidity that goes along with it. I actually like going in the dry sauna at the gym. I'd say you can add 15 degrees to the FL temps as far as comfortable goes... 85 and humid is just as bad for me as 100 and dry. Just my take.
