Not even a comparison. Minneapolis is not even in the same league as Seattle.

Seattle has a beautiful natural setting, and a way more dense urban core.

Seattle... It has Space Needle to represent Seattle plus Mt. Rainer peak and Olympic mountains in other directions.. Can't be beaten!

Just posted, not sure where it went. Anyway, I think Seattle is the best pick. Mild climate, strong economy. As we speak, Seattle has kicked back into high gear re: apartment tower construction and hiring (Amazon) whereas Portland is stagnant. Vancouver, while cosmo and beautiful, cannot compete. Seattles well read and educated CSA of 4.2 million (by far the largest city of the group) is the most educated and read of the three. Minneapolis is one of the most relevant contenders to Seattle in the US, but not quite there. If you don't want to shovel snow all winter and still be within a couple hour drive of two fantastic cities (PDX and YVR) Seattle is the pick.

As much as I enjoy looking at the Minneapolis skyline, Seattle has it beat.

Size definitely matters. And the natural backdrop doesn't hurt either.

It's hard to compare. If you combine MPS and St. Paul, maybe. But for now Seattle all the way
