Seattle wins. If downtown Minneapolis and downtown St. Paul were clustered together, it would be comparable to Seattle. Minneapolis alone has too few buildings.

This one ain't close...Seattle is a top 5 skyline in this country.

A better comparison would be Denver vs. Minneapolis.

Honestly, I prefer the architecture of many of the individual high rises in Minneapolis over ones in Seattle. However, as a whole, Seattle's larger and cohesive high-rises paired with the Space Needle make for a striking skyline, and Mt. Rainer just makes it all look so much better. I'll have to go with Seattle.

Seattle. Like I said before, Minneapolis' skyline is very ugly to me because of the lack of "filler" buildings. Every major scraper tries to look "unique". The architects have no sense of surroundings and fitting in when designing the buildings there.

Seattle is a top 5 skyline whereas Minneapolis has a top 10 or 12 so Seattle wins this one. Minneapolis and Pittsburgh would be a better debate.

I'm sure Cesar Pelli, Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, Hammel, Green & Abrahamson, Ellerbe Becket, etc... didn't have any sense of surroundings.
