New York - Subways, density, cosmopolitan, all those urban life movies from the 80's and 90's; Breakin', Straight out of Brooklyn, Crooklyn, Clockers, Do The Right Thing, Juice.

L.A. - Gangland, wall to wall freeway traffic in all directions , beaches, celebrities.

Chicago - Brilliant skyline overlooking Lake Michigan, Cubs, Mobsters, Pizza.

Houston - Oil, medical facilities, interesting mix of cultures, progressive yet backwards at the same time.

Phoenix - But it's a dry heat. Retiree paradise.

Dallas - A corprate city, big money, big sports, Fort Worth. How the TV show 'Dallas' created an indelible image of the city that lasts in the minds of many people still today.

L.V. - The 2007 All-Star game and the sea of people walking The Strip. Fun place to visit, not live.

S.F. - Bring a light jacket in the summer. Japanese.

Seattle - Cool, cloudy, green, Nirvana.
