Definently Toledo! Dayton is a bit too regular looking and nothing memorable sticks out. Toledo has that large blue glass building that makes it more interesting

Great links!!! I'll have to bring some of that over here. Anyways, yeah, I honestly think they both have great skylines for cities of their size, but Dayton's is a little more traditional and Toledo's is a little more "new age".

Those pics are outdated. For those that voted for Toledo because of it's glass building: get a load of this. The new Care Source building by the riverfront is all glass, lit up at night and ultra-modern. The sleek curve almost matches the curve in the riverfront. Beautiful white glass. But besides that, Dayton still would be better. The skyline is much more dense and it is the least to saya boring. Toledo looks like it has two highrises, one thats ugly and thats it. The rest of the skyline is made up of older low rise buildings. Dayton has around ten highrises. It includes art deco, modern, post-modern, contemporary, traditional, and victorian architecture. I don't see where people say Dayton looks bland. Dayton has a much better layout, too. Here are some links to some MUCH BETTER Dayton pictures:

I've been to Dayton once, and considering i've never even heard of the place before, Its skyline surprised me. Very impressive for its size. They get my vote.

I honestly don't really like either of them much. I was leaning towards Dayton in the past but now I'm leaning towards Toledo.

Also, you say Daytons skyline is impressive for a city of 150k, but the metro is actually 840k. Toledo is a city of 280k, but the metro is 650k. I would say Toledo has a better skyline for the metro size.

IMO, Dayton because of its density.
