Not the nicest place to live and has suffered through some hard times, even though the Southland Casino helps to keep it afloat, You'd think it would be directly across the Mississippi with a nice view of Memphis' skyline, but its actually separated by a flood plain for a couple miles. The vibe is mostly working to lower middle class, with quite a few vacant lots in the heart of town. But if you're satisfied with a no-frills lifestyle with an elevated risk of crime in spots, its for you. It's AR's version of East St. Louis, though not quite as bad.

It's not as big as a nope as Newark and Paterson. But as Newark gentrifies, it's reasonable to say this city is in danger.

New-money suburb in DuPage. They were one of the best teams we raced against when I was in high school XC, and I'll always resent them a bit for that reason. lol

Don't know much about the city. Very green. Lots of nature. Homelessness is a growing problem.

Charming and historic downtown. One of the top cities to retire to. Love to visit.

A very middle-of-the-road city for me. It's a nice looking city with pretty surroundings. There are some things to do/see, but not compared to other cities/metros of its size. Probably wouldn't visit again, only because of the lack of things to do. But I've always found it to be one of the more charming cities in CA, along with San Diego.

Bohemian, liberal, with far too many homeless. Expensive given the lack of good paying jobs. Lots of breweries and the mountains are second to none, but the city is otherwise more blighted that one might expect. The downtown architecture stands out in that it's very art deco.

I always think towns like Rapid (close to outdoor recreation but small/non-urban and fairly isolated) are really overrated and overpriced. But that's not very interesting, so I will say this: the geology/paleontology museum looks cool. I'd probably try to take a couple classes at the School of Mines if I were living in that area.

While it’s not my type of city, I do have to give some credit here. Many of the neighborhoods near downtown are still quite nice, unlike so many cities. Also, I20 basically runs on the Southern edge of town, and doesn’t give Midland the sort of divided city feel that early freeway projects could often do in a city. The scenery around it is kinda neat too, not quite desert but not really verdant.

Doesn't rank well at all in my metro rankings. Lots of retirees. Not too far from Orlando and Tampa Bay.
