Seems like any other Midwestern college town with a state u. Haven't been there, Kansas is one of the ~10 states I still haven't visited. My only association with the town is that William S. Burroughs lived there in his older age, and was visited there by Kurt Cobain in 1993. Burroughs was one of Cobain's literary idols and it had been a lifelong dream to meet him; they even recorded some spoken-word poetry together. Burroughs famously remarked after the meeting, "Something's wrong with that boy. He never smiles."

Seems like a typical smaller city, in south central Nebraska along I-80. North Platte isn't too much different, as well.

Great Falls, MT

Has high property crime, and it’s kinda poor. But the low costs justify that.

The most populated town, among OK's 3 panhandle county seat towns. I'm kinda surprised Oklahoma Panhandle State University many years ago didn't build their campus in Guymon, and instead built it in a town slightly to the southwest(Goodwell).

This is the NM town Boy Scouts will get off the Amtrak Southwest Chief train at, if they are going to Philmont Scout Ranch southwest of here(near Cimarron). Anyway: Raton, NM

The part of New Mexico that looks like Colorado. Doesn't look very well off, but it's not dangerous.

White City, Oregon

Funny name for a town, that looks like not much more than a small strip of businesses on Hwy. 105 just east of Conroe, TX.

Natchitoches, LA
