The absolute worst area is nyc, bronx, brooklyn, harlem, some queens areas.. With its millions of welfare recipients and freeloader mothers and it just keep getting worst and worst crime is rampid here people get beat up in front of ambulances personel, they just keep driving you can try to wave a police cruiser down but they dont stop everything here is completely overuled by the court systems and not at all for the people, its more to generate funding for the city, parking ticket and sanitation violations are made up theres no reason to ticket a property when the people here are completely filthy they toss garbage out of windows urinate out of windows its a disgusting place here. these guys migrate and even ruin good nieghborhoods so property owners are force to provide homes and living spaces for these people. To bad i work in this god forsaking place waiting for the day to be able to leave here. Its a desparate place 95% on assitance or handouts complianing about situations cuase by themselves. Its total abuse here. 98% using food stamps refusing to learn or even seek carreers its so easy to get on public assistance why would they? Its a city with millions of votes for the democrats and billions of dollar for the welfare system its ridiculous. The new trend is teenage lesbianism i mean 13 and 14 year old girls that are unsupervised or have parents who are totaly dependant of this so called human resouces adminitration. God forbid you have a child with one of these woman here you,ll see what i mean.. As for teenage lesbianism it is spreading rapidly yet they still find a way to have kids and get free shelter and expensive even being lesbians it is a total scammers heaven here, the social security administration is sold out as well doctors send scamming moms to get social security funds for self induced asma by turning on your oven all night it can cuase your child to suffer asma its a common scam and welfare mothers here are quick to make there children asmatic for the sake of collecting social security just a typical scam played out here over and over again attention deficit from abuse and allowing child to act out and its is encourage well of course if it leads to a check every month it is encouraged even planned by people here poor kids they dont stand a chance with a parents like this. Without ever ever working a day in there lives they collect social security dissabilty isnt this for working people, what is going on here the other thing is the influx of dominican illegals that blending in trough puerto rico and coming here trough puerto rico and it is unoticed or just swept under the rug. They are overiding the system with falsified documents and scammer employment agencys that falsify documents to get these new arrived illegals into secure and sometimes classified jobs like airports and goverment facilities, sorry to say this is a major problem here as they have took over some entire comminities such as washinton hieghts now the bronx is slowly being devoured by them. They do not employ any other races in these areas, that is discrimination but what can you do .. As for the legal system here it is a complete shame people are tossed in jail just becuase a cop can spend the whole day in the precint doing paper work and why becuase they also dont want to work.. It is a scammers paridise this place called new york city big city of crime and scammers..

The suburbs are pretty safe, but the city neighborhoods are full of poverty, joblessness, and the ensuing drug trade accompanied by the usual violence. Youngstown has only about 85,000 people, but averages about 50 or more homicides a year. This city is hard core!!!

the very same thing could be said about most metropolitan areas, particularly medium to large in size: e.g. nashville, tn, birmingham, alabama, baltimore, maryland, memphis, tn,. all of these have exceptional suburbs w/ little violent crime. their inner city black neighborhoods are atrocious. it is pretty much a given all over the country through urban areas. nothing new.

Youngstown has problems, but there's no need to exagerate them.

Also, most of the violent crime is drug or gang related.

Most of the crime in Youngstown is definitely drug and gang related. I don't live in Youngstown, but I do spend quite a bit of time there, and have never had any problems beyond being panhandled. I also am careful to avoid certain parts of town, though, and don't linger in the areas where the drug and gang activities are reputed to be the greatest. There are plenty of innocent folks out there who do become victims, so it is wise to be cautious.
