I saw Ohio State's schedule for this upcoming season yesterday on ESPN and I actually laughed out loud, it never ceases to amaze me how a team with such a cream puff easy schedule can be consistently ranked in the top 25. Seriously, the Univ of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) has a tougher schedule than Ohio State, but yet the Buckeyes always seem to find their way into the spotlight because they are the media darlings. But the proof is in the pudding, every time they have to play a SEC or Big 12 team they are exposed for the slow, non football players that they are.

Recently the Buckeyes have been coming up short but we constantly send first round draft picks to the NFL and is very well represented. The starting Quarterback who won the SuperBowl (Ben Rothelsberger) is from Ohio and Santonio Holmes made the winning catch.(a product of Ohio State. The best Football states are California, Texas, Ohio ,Florida and Pennslyvania.

I agree, except put NY for Basketball, add Ohio, PA and Florida for Football and put California for Baseball too. Sleepers are Mississippi and Louisiana for Football, Wisconsin and Michigan for Hockey, Texas in Baseball and Kentucky, DC and NC for Basketball. NY and Maryland for Lacrosse; Washington, NJ and Oregon for Soccer; and Minnesota and california for Volleyball. California and Texas for Softball too.
