Montreal has new york city type density, but Houston has architecture.

Montreal has better density, but Houston's is taller, bigger and has more interesting architecture IMO.

Have to disagree on those as well. Better skyscrapers... yeah no doubt. Architecture? Mmm.. not seeing it.

Montreals uninteresting architecture...

I think the main issue here, if I were to take a gander is... most people on this board have probably never been to Montreal...
And I'm not even a big fan, I got a 650 CDN ticket for having a radar detector there >:I... but skyline/architecture I have to go with Montreal

That was great!!! I love that one château looking building and that other world expo looking one too. I think Montreal can beat Houston in all categories.

I guess I should have phrased it differently. I meant better skyscraper architecture. To me, Montreal's skyline has too many of the bland mid-century office boxes. I like Houston's sleek, modern skyscrapers. Outside the skyline, though, Montreal has the charming old-world architecture which is hard to beat. Thanks for sharing.

Houston wins the skyline battle w/o question.

Montreal has a bantamweight skyline at best. Great downtown though - St Catherine's rocks.
