Montreal vs Houston - Skyline Battle

Houston has a better skyline but the pics posted on here make it look too nice. The buildings are actually very spread apart from each other and there is a lot of space in between that still needs to be developed. Even then the development still lacks urbanity with tons of CVS's filling up space along with huge parking lots. There are certain shots capturing the whole skyline from uptown to midtown to downtown but these pics are a but inaccurate in showcasing Houston as a major city that's already arrived. There is still a lot to be done.

I still say Houston's is tops. I think shots from east looking west is when you can see the most density in the Houston skyline. Lots of the old and new. Plus the tallest ones give it a more imposing and dramatic look.

Houston certainly has the height advantage... Montreal seems to balance height and density a bit better. I actually prefer the scrapers in Montreal vs Houston.. It also looks like Montreal is going through a bit of a construction boom based on the links below which will definitely make an impact on the skyline and density.

Even though Houston has the height and is more imposing - i'm going to go with Montreal in terms aesthetics, density balance and number of U/C vs Houston's height.

Montreal is a much more impressive city, but its skyline is, eh.
