I vote for Houston do to it's multi skylines. People seem to think that Houston only has one but in reality Houston has about 5 all together. Downtown, TMC, Greenspoint, Uptown, & the Energy Corridor.

To put things into perspective, Montreal's tallest skyscraper would rank 15th tallest in Houston's skyline.
Houston's tallest - 1,002 feet
Montreal's tallest - 673 feet
HUGE difference in height. That's a difference of almost 330 feet!!! Houston ****s out 300 footers like its nothing. There are probably no less than 15-20 buildings over 300 feet going up in Houston right now as we speak.

I chose Montreal. I like stats as much of the next guy but can't deny Montreal the style points for setting, history and density. And a little something called character.
Those are aerials though, not the skyline...I don't count those short buildings you see by being in neighborhoods in skyline. Houston and Atlanta have pretty nice skylines for instance, but Montreal would of course beat them handily at street level.
I was actually just thinking about this thread. I think I already commented before, but Houston's is much better imo. Montreal falls short in the skyline department (for a Canadian City).
Montreal has height limit.... No buildings could be taller than mountain mont-Royal
