Besides having a taller skyline in Houston's dead downtown (and I kinda like Houston's skyline for reason), Montreal > Houston.

Houston doesn't even have the best skyline in the south.
Best is relative.

Its definitely the tallest. I like Atlanta's architecture better, but its buildings fall short compared to Houston's.

I have to go Houston on skyline here; but to me the more important aspect street level vibrancy goes to Montreal with no question. Skyline is well down the list on what I enjoy most about cities; generally though they don't hurt it and can look very nice, just don't always enhace the energy level IMHO

Yeah, cause height makes a city.

Thats great. Add those 54 buildings and MTL still has more. Houston is playing catch up.

Playing catch up? Please.

Montreal may have a lot of buildings, but they're all relatively short compared to Houston's.

I've already called you out on the fact Houston has almost double the amount of 100+ meter buildings Montreal has (70+ vs. 40).

Montreal doesn't have any supertalls (300+ meters). Houston has close to 3.

So Washington DC must be dumb too because they have a height restriction.

Taller yes. More? No.

And the last time I checked 460 buildings is more than whatever Houston has. Houston needs to work on changing it's dead downtown first before building all these buildings.

What is the deal with pointing this out when this thread has nothing to do with what is going on in the streets. This is about the skylines and skylines only.
