Places can't be abandoned unless they had large populations that declined.
I agree AND I question the validity of this list. I'm actually shocked to see Tucson there, but not Phoenix. No Phoenix, Atlanta, Las Vegas?? I haven't seen an overabundance of new construction in the Tucson area that would validate this. I also haven't seen that many 'for sale' or 'for rent' signs around here AND people are still moving here.

portland 1 of the most abandonned??!?!!?! Portland is the 2nd fastest growing major city in the country.....
