^^^No, guess not. You live in Orlando, so I am curious where in NC you went that you found the people of Orlando friendlier... Care to share?

Depends where but this can be very true. Of course I have seen this in every state I've visited so maybe I'm just picky...

Probably NC. Miami has some of the rudest people I've ever met

I would like to hear from the people that voted for FL. Where in FL do you live and what part of NC are you comparing FL to? It's not that I dont believe the folks that voted for FL, I just have a feeling some of the folks on the FL forum voted for FL just because it makes them feel more comfortable, i.e., more like NY. And that's not a vaild reason IMO. It's who has the friendlier residents, not which on is more like up north and has the most residents that are like you.

OrlREMiracle, what part of NC do you frequent? There are 20 total votes as of now, and even more written responses, and I only see one person that actually posted FL as their answer, but so far FL has 7 votes.

You found the people in Charlotte to be less friendly than in Orlando? Really? That's pretty interesting.

I have, LOL! I live in Orlando now, and I don't find the people here to be rude at all. I go to Tampa a lot too, LOL, and find about the same. I also grew up in South Florida...plenty of nice people down there. I didn't vote, because I haven't spent enough time in NC, but compared to Atlanta, Philly, Boston, and other large cities I've spent any time in, it's about the same.

I wonder why FL has 7 votes (out of 20) but nobody who voted for FL has posted why. But tons of people who voted for NC posted about why. I'm just curious.

I have found many Florida residents to be unfriendly and that is an understatement......IMHO...I pick North Carolina.
