List of U.S. metro areas with highest "GDP IN THE WORLD"

What do you guys think of the list? The Northeast is well represented on the list, Boston, DC, NYC, Philiadelphia....Only
one southern city Dallas made the top 15. Two western cities made the list L.A and San Francisco. One
midwest city made the list Chicago.

Those are not US "Cities", but rather US Metropolitan Statistical Areas.

Cleveland's at #55.. nice. Apparently not so worthless after all .. I know that isn't Northeast Ohio either, because the number is lower. I really wish they redefined what constitutes as a "metro".

Why not do a top 20?

Atlanta, Houston and Miami would round out the list. Ooooh, I forgot, this is city-data. The fact that 5 of the 20 richest cities in the world are in the Sunbelt, with 4 of them in the South alone, would destroy some people's worlds.

What five would those be? Even if your guess is correct, I count four in the Sunbelt.

And why four in the South? If you are guessing correctly, I count two in the South. And Miami isn't really "the South".
