Judging by those pictures, I really like Oklahoma City's skyline much better. I've also been to Oklahoma City since it's relatively close to the DFW area and their downtown is really hopping. I think that city is in the midst of transforming itself immensely. Bricktown in DT Oklahoma City is a result of a tremendous revitalization from what I understand. And the Oklahoma City Memorial brings tears to your eyes.

Oklahoma City wins. And with the new Devon Tower underway, it's reconfirmation of my overall choice!

Oklahoma City for me. Like mentioned, Devon Tower will have a major impact once it's done. I like Tampa's building on a 1vs1 type deal. But as a whole, Oklahoma City wins in my view.

As both and oklahoman by birth and a Floridian of 18 years, I will give the very slight nod to Tampa. Mostly because of the beautiful Bay behind it. Also, it has a slight edge in taller buildings. But this will be very temporary. Devon Energy as well as the new Oklahoma City Convention Center and who knows what else over the next 10 years will transform the OKC skyline considerably.

I vote for Tampa, but, I live in Florida. Maybe some better photos of both will help though? I have some of Tampa....

OKC's is better but both are kind of weak, imo.

What "similarities" are you guys seeing between these two skylines? I see nothing in common between them.

Tampa has the better skyline. I think the OKC skyline is ugly myself. The new tower will help, but it's too tall for the skyline IMO. One supertall and a bunch of older 20 story buildings looks bad. OKC should have built two 45 story buildings. That would have really added to the skyline.
