Nashville

Memphis
Atlanta
Charlotte
Jacksonville
Raleigh
Austin

All the cities I picked have a population under one million.

By settling down in, I am talking about a place where you can just live in. You know, good cost of living index, outdoor recreational options, nightlife, music, sports, clubs, entrainment options such as malls, theme parks, water parks. Please answer ignoring a city's economic strength, or skyline, because 9 times out of 10, GDP is not the reason why people would move to these places.

I'd choose Nashville - pretty scenery, tolerable weather, big city/small town vibe, always something to do, daily life not a hassle.

Charlotte or Atlanta is most likely gonna win. Least would be Jax if I were to guess. And I think Raleigh should be tied or up there with CLT or ATL, not at the bottom with Jax.

hrrmm maybe fernandina beach area or amelia island in jax out of those. I like being next to the ocean, the other options don't have that and actually puts me hours from it.
