Baltimore's residential architecture kills Chicago's.

Chicago, even though Baltimore would get me closer to other cities (Philly, NYC) I still dont think I could ever live there.

I like Baltimore's location better than Chicago's, but I don't dislike Chicago's location (especially its location on Lake Michigan and its proximity and ease of getting to places like Milwaukee, Madison, Minneapolis, St. Louis etc.).

As far as cities are concerned, I'd pick Chicago easily.

I'll take a rowhouse before I take the suburbanish looking bungalo. Chicago is definitely much better in every other category.

How do you figure? A good chunk of Baltimore is bombed out.

I like Baltimore's harbor fortifications. Chicago has none.

Chicago's population is hemorrhaging. What do u think those vacant neighborhoods look like?

Considering that Baltimore has lost nearly 16% of its population since 1990 (versus 3% for Chicago during that same time period) I'm not sure that this comment is going to score any points for Baltimore.
