Even with the mountains and the coast? You'd be giving up Asheville and Wilmington. Of course, Wilmington is not on Charleston level, so I give you that.

I've lived in both. South Carolina is BY FAR the better state in which to live. More advanced, lower taxes, lower insurance, more individual freedom, the list goes on and on. I'll never move to North Carolina again.

"More advanced"? Now I'm a native SC'er and love my home state, but I can't objectively agree on that one, at least taking the most common metrics into account to assess such.

Is this real life? You can't be serious. Besides Greenville and Charleston, SC is mostly a dump.
