Me too. Oak trees are majestic, IMO. They live for hundreds of years, grow tall and wide, and have such a complex system of boughs, limbs and roots.

I don't have anything against palms, but several varieties of oak are among my favorite trees.

I am from the Caribbean so obviously I am gonna go with.............
.
.
.
. ............Oaks

I like palms in a tropical setting but I prefer oaks in a more urban or suburban setting.

I don't like the oaks when they are flowering though. It makes a mess that clings to my dog's fur. Bad bad oaks

Dead Palms then. I still say they are UGLY and give no shade, but I suppose if you worship the SUN you won't care about shade.

I guess I'd say Oaks. But Pines are my favorite. Pines and Maples should have been choices in this thread too.

Palm trees of course. Oak trees just scream normal, I don't even notice deciduous trees. Palms stand out, they're exotic and cool.
