Ill take third world instead.
There are plenty of those in America. Do not try to kid me. In Russia they just want to keep their country from becoming westernized. In America they just hate you because your skin color is different.

The difference is in America its not socially acceptable. In America, we dont elect neo-nazi's and national socialists to public office. You have it backward. In Russia, alot more people hate because of skin color.

Last time I was in Moscow was over Hitlers birthday. I often travel with a collegue who is from Mexico. The police informed him that he could not go outside during the weekend for fear of his safety. Alot of skinheads and national socialists get real riled up over there (ironic since Hitler slaugtered many Russians during the war). There is a HUGE anti-immigrant sentiment there which the one in the US cannot touch. For alot of Russians, it is perfectly acceptable to beat up an immigrant or someone who isnt white for fun. Alot of the police also single out people who are not white for extortion. Ive seen that one many times first hand.

There are elements of Russian society that are very backward. Im reminded of this every time Im there.

Well it is not acceptable to me. And Russia is a corrupt country, you can not honestly say that it is like that over there because you are not even Russian. You can not look at a news story and act like out of a very large city like Moscow that a few thousand of them are Neo Nazis and act like Russians hate immigrants. Most Russians are very nice and intrigued if you are from somewhere else. In America they either do not care, they do not like you, or the few that are intrigued will ask you ridiculous stereotypical questions about where you are from because they are too ignorant to know anything else besides associating Russia with the mob and communism.

Nowhere did I say most Russians were like that. However, as you say Russia is exceptionally corrupt. I may not be Russian, but I have spent considerable time in Moscow doing work for Aeroflot at their HQ on Arbat street (I might add, I do love Arbat street. Good times! ) and for S7 airlines as well. I have things I love and hate about Moscow. Ive also been to St. Petersburg, Perm, Nizhny Novgorod, and Vladivostok (thats a whole other world, but I was surprised at how clean it was).

I agree that America might not be perfect. Its not exactly Canada when it comes to foreign visitors. But the level of hatred for foreigners seems to pass that in Russia.

Dallas is only getting more diverse. Data Montclair18 posted in another thread shows that Dallas and DFW are now at only 50% non-hispanic white. Thats a drop of 4% in one year. On top of which DFW is now attracting alot more Hispanics and even more Asians than new white residents.

What they need to do is find a list with countries, not races. That would change this ridiculous list.
The truth is that YOU are the one that doesn't know anything about hispanic people or countries. Don't try to put everyone else behind your back. I can perfectly tell the difference between hispanic people by listening to the way they speak or their accent. All hispanic countries have different words in their language and people look very different too. There are hispanic countries where the majority of people are white skinned colored others are darker and others are mixed. Your post really made laugh so I give you a plus on that.

3) Los Angeles (.664)
4) Miami (.663)

11) Boston (.346)
That is a great list and formula of diverse places when broken down by the four race groups. It's already been mentioned, but once you break down the different nationalities in each group, the list changes drastically. I think LA, NYC and DC move up on the list, while Houston, Atlanta, Philly drop down. Interesting perspective, though.

Agreed that this is an interesting thread, good job to the OP. I would like to clarify though that The Boston CSA (Manchester-Worcester) area is not diverse, but the city of Boston is one of the most diverse in the country, if you do the calculations it will prove that fact.

With that being said it is not surprise to me that the CSA's of Houston and SF are at the top.

What a small-minded thing to say. And not all Asians in SF and LA are Chinese. In addition to Mexicans, there are plenty of Central Americans in all three cities you mentioned.
