Fort Worth's big advantage over Charlotte is a bit surprising.
BUT, I will say, I visited Fort Worth in 2018, and was extremely pleasantly surprised by the city. So many well kept, beautiful neighborhoods with nice houses and quiet areas.
Downtown Fort Worth had a lot of cultural institutions and attractions, and the food was very diverse in terms of offerings: incredible mexican, delicious bbq, amazing chinese, japanese and incredible vietnamese food, good american and good italian. I was very surprised. They had a dynamic and large gay community too.
It's a fast growing city that has plentiful job opportunities, too. Add in the Dallas area, and it makes it that much more intriguing of a city and region.
Wow! Shocked Fort Worth is heavily favored here. I thought Charlotte would’ve been crushing this poll.
Might partially be so because this poll began 14 years ago. Might be different if it was started today.
