So I am just curious; if anyone has thoughts on a building in the US that would be better suited in another city? And why?

The Transamerica Pyramid would look great in Chicago I think. If you put it in with the skyline on the waterfront it would blend in perfectly while adding it's unique look to the area.

The Empire State Building would look good in L.A. I'm not saying they should move it there, but building a replica of it there would be cool.

Those two buildings would look good in any city.

I always thought the NBC (I think) building just off Michigan Ave on the Mag Mile looked like a jr version of the Empire state (edited, meant Rock Center) and belonged in NY

Another is the tall circular hotel in Atlanta - for some reason it seems like it would fit nicely in Dallas

In Miami I would just love to see any relatively tall office building to break up what looks like rows of condos - they almost look like very tall rowhomes in their unitofrmity
