I don't love it! A Northwest city is number 2... We don't need more transplants right now. Go away.

Ever notice sites like that always pick the underdogs and cities that you would never expect?

Austin made the list, but no Dallas, San Antonio, or Houston? What lame brain is making these lists anyways?

My guess of the 10 best cities of the "next decade" are ...
( In alphabetical order )

1.) Austin
2.) Charlotte
3.) Cleveland
4.) Columbus
5.) Denver
6.) Minneapolis
7.) Oklahoma City
8.) Raleigh
9.) Sacramento
10.) Salt Lake City

Hmmm...what defines "best"? I don't think my list of the best cities in America is going to change too much over the next decade.

What a useless and subjective list of cities. How can anyone tell what 10 years into the future will hold for any city? For instance, the unemployment rate in SLC is so high right now that it is almost impossible for people to find employment there. I have a relative living there with a degree and he has been looking for employment for the past year without any luck.

Interesting is how many on this list are smaller areas of 300k-1m in metro population as well as a number of state capitals as well.
