Its not that I like Calcutta that I'm defending it, but it's got a lot more to it than being "ohh it's just Calcutta, it's third world". I mean obviously there's a reason why people live there, reason why a lot of people can have a great time there.

It doesn't always have to look like NYC, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, Houston for it to be a great place to live. It's saddening when people knock places that have more worth than their words.

I mean you don't have to live there, but you don't have to knock the lifestyle and city where others live. They make the best of it, we're not ones to judge how others live, where they live.

You sound like every other spoiled NYer, go shop on 5th ave, sip your starbucks, and pretend you know about art just because you live in NY. Enjoy it. I mean that. But just because you like that lifestyle doesn't mean everyone does.

nyc but i am biased towards things nyc caters to.

I would pick San Juan over Vegas though for a casino weekend... I prefer the nightlife and cultural things to do in San Juan...

if that poll was to be made

I hate that stereotype people give New Yorkers "artsy fartsy and drinking Starbucks coffee". Lol, I'd rather catch a slice of pizza and take the 4 train to a Yankee game .

Cost of living

Personally I could give two ****s about all the museums and galleries in NY. I'd rather live the laid back lifestyle in San Juan. I'd bike to work, hit the gym, and then chill on the beach every day. My family is in Florida so it would be a cheap ticket to visit them.

NYC is too overcrowded and has too much of an attitude for me. Puerto Rico is just as if not more walkable, sunny, and chill.

Oops internet timed out and no poll. If mods want to add one otherwise you can just post your response.
NYC of course. I do not know why San Juan is being compared to NYC.
San Juan does not match NYC in anything. San Juan wishes to have what NYC has. NYC has diversity, better public transportation, better restaurants, etc...

See thats the irony, nobody is asking you to compare the two. I'm just asking which you'd rather live in.

Thats the type of bias I was talking about, better this and better that... its not about which one is better there is no right answer its about which one you prefer.
