Interesting. I'll have to check it out too. I've been missing an indie rock station since the demise of the old 92.3.

Yes, me too. They have 99.1 now, but it doesn't reach out to where I live on the East Side. How can they call themselves a Cleveland radio station when it doesn't even reach all parts of Cleveland? I haven't tried this new station, but hopefully the signal's a little stronger than that one.

I've been enjoying it in my other car. I like college radio, too, but this is the same all the time. lol Seems to have a much better signal, too.

It is a pretty good mix of music. One thing to note is that unless the FCC changes their rules on analog broadcasting, 87.7 will go away in 2015. You see, 87.7 is actually a tv station, which is why many radios don't even receive this frequency. It is analog channel 6. Under FCC regulations, any TV station on Channel 6 can broadcast audio on 87.7 Since analog is basically dead, and radio signals travel much farther than a low power TV signal, it makes more sense to use it as a radio station.

Find an old style TV and antenna without a digital converter and tune into channel 6. You will hear 87.7. As part of the digital transition (that already eliminated full power analog TV stations) low power TV will go away. That leaves 87.7 with an extremely unsettled future. Unless they can get the FCC to delay this move, 87.7 will need to find a new radio signal or go internet only.
