I just landed a new job and I'm so stoked to be leaving this god awful place. At first when I moved here I though, "hey, it can't be that bad despite what everyone says about it"

But trust me, it is.

School systems keep pressing levies and that raises property taxes on people already taxed. I guess if you don't have a job and can protest at Steelyard shopping center all day while everyone else works, it's all good. On top of that, sales tax is too high. 8%? Too much crime, horrible winter weather. Short summers and cold dangerous winters that result in tons of potholes everywhere. Want to go shopping? Here you go:

Also too much pollution. Ranked #12 for worst polluted city just 3 years ago. No wonder so many people have asthma that live here.

Horrible sports teams that never win a title... the list goes on.

East Cleveland? How much money can you put into a complex that the tenants are continuing to destroy before you stop making a profit?

So to anyone thinking about moving here, do some serious research. This place is filled with too many pro Clevelanders that want you to come here and share in their misery. There are so many better places to live that have better weather, less problems, more things to do, and better cost of living to make your $$ go further.

What's the one thing Cleveland has going for it?

It's not Detroit.

If you're going to troll, at least be creative about it. I've been told I'm a terrible Cleveland hater, but if you're truly a current resident, the city will be better off without you. It needs positive people who believe in its potential, and all indications are it truly has some great momentum and is making a serious return.

DiceClay is not moving anywhere; could be living in Cleveland, Little Rock or anywhere. Notice no mention of where this job is and I know when most people leave Cleveland they always mention one of the reasons being the tax dollars going into East Cleveland. Usually it's a career move and not a bomb threat at a mall.
